On Thursday, May 21, great music and the stories of our origins came together in a special event promoted by IRSAP Foundation. An evening that combined the affectionate memory of our founders, Orazio Rossi and Livio Zen, with the energy of younger generations.
The event opened with speeches by Alessandro Zen, Marco Rossi and Laura Rossi, offering an intimate and previously unseen portrait of the founders. Their stories focused not only on professional achievements, but also on moments from everyday life that highlighted their humanity and values.
The evening continued with performances by the Conservatory’s talented young musicians, culminating in a deeply moving moment with the reading of selected passages from the book and the screening of historical images of Orazio and Livio.
Remembering the past reveals its true strength when it becomes an opportunity to reflect openly on the future. At the end of the event, our CEO Marco Rossi shared an important message, encouraging the audience not to draw simplistic comparisons between the difficulties experienced by the founders and those faced by young people today.
The world has simply changed, and every era has its own complexities. The aim is not to pass judgement, but to approach the present with a positive outlook. Seeing work as a new challenge means not giving up when faced with difficult circumstances, but continuing to seek and explore new ways of solving problems.
This message of courage and determination was followed by Laura Rossi’s closing thanks to everyone who attended and shared such a meaningful evening with us.
