On Saturday, May 23, our iGreen Corporate Committee brought together IRSAP employees, friends and family members at the Canoe Rovigo association in Bosaro for a special day combining activities on land and water.
It was a wonderful opportunity to recharge and strengthen team spirit through a range of unique experiences:
A lesson in biodiversity: along the banks of the Canalbianco, guided by botanist Professor Fabrizio Barbieri, we learned to identify the wild herbs of the Polesine area and discovered how to collect and use them in cooking.
The rhythm of Dragon Boating: together with federal instructor Mauro, we experienced the energy of dragon boating. This discipline requires coordination and synchronisation, but it is also a powerful symbol of solidarity. In the local area, it is used as part of sports-based rehabilitation programmes for women who have undergone breast cancer surgery.
At the end of the day, all participants received a guide to the wild herbs of the Polesine area, edited by Professor Barbieri, as well as the ever-present IRSAP water bottle.
Promoting the well-being of our people, supporting local organisations and fostering inclusion are key pillars of our ESG vision. Special thanks go to everyone who helped make this wonderful day possible.
