Welfare Index PMI is a project promoted by Generali Italia under the patronage of Confindustria, with the aim of promoting and enhancing corporate welfare culture in Italy.
In 2026, IRSAP achieved First Place Overall and received the Steering Committee Special Award, after earning the highest Welfare Champion rating in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 editions and ranking among the top 100 companies out of more than 6,500 participants.
The recognition rewards a participatory welfare model that goes beyond the provisions of the national collective labour agreement, integrating employee well-being, social inclusion, equal opportunities, work-life balance and commitment to the local community.
Key initiatives include:
- health and prevention programmes developed in collaboration with LILT and Metasalute, vaccinations, the Gym Hub, on-site osteopathy and the “Safety Day at the Theatre”;
- Family Day and financial support for families, education and childcare services;
- partnerships with schools, Higher Technical Institutes, universities and CUOA to support training and the employment of young people;
- projects promoted by IRSAP Foundation ETS for vulnerable people, people with disabilities, former prisoners and women affected by violence;
- work-life balance and gender equality measures, including smart working, flexible working arrangements, additional leave and the “Gender Equality Observatory”;
- environmental and social initiatives promoted by the employee group “iGreen”.
The award confirms IRSAP’s commitment to developing a welfare system capable of creating tangible value for employees, their families and the wider community.
