It’s very difficult to choose just one room in this renovated house in Pontones, Cantabria. The bucolic atmosphere is strongly present in both the living room and the kitchen, thanks to the large windows overlooking the region’s sweeping meadows and the distinctive mist that forms on sunny mornings.
All the rooms maintain a modern country style that preserves the home’s original elements, such as the wooden beams found throughout, and combines them with modern pieces that blend in without losing the essence of the place.
The living room is arranged around the large window, ensuring that the view becomes the main attraction for anyone sitting on the sofa. The same applies to the kitchen, where the island table stands out, offering a panoramic view of the Cantabrian fields. Between these two spaces lies the dining area, accessible through glass and linen partition walls.
The guest bathroom features dark grey walls and pleasant, practical lighting. An acacia wood countertop has been installed to support the washbasin. Similar basins can be found in the other bathrooms as well, each placed on different pieces of furniture, giving every space a unique character.
